The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application system.

Applications at the moment are open and can shut on 15 December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the subsequent criteria:

• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house which has a combined gross house earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined residence income doesn't exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and want not submit any proof of earnings.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from households with combined R350 000 check here and R600 000 for every annum.
